QPR 1 – 1 Reading
QPR and Reading played out an open game that could have gone either way but which ended in a draw at Loftus Road.
Both sides are still searching for their first wins of the season and QPR looked set to steal three points but for a string of saves from Alex McCarthy.
The goalkeeper gets my ‘Man of the Match’ award this week after he produced 5 saves to salvage a point for his team.
It needed a wonder save from McCarthy to keep the scores level as he tipped Esteban Granero’s free-kick onto the crossbar at full stretch.
The youngster has stepped out of the shadow of Adam Federici and this was not the first time he has saved his side points.
