Wigan 1 – 2 West Brom
Another week and another win for Steve Clarke and his team as the Baggies saw off the challenge of Wigan to end the weekend just outside the top four on goal difference.
James Morrison has been a revelation under Clarke, epitomising the new brand of football that the former Liverpool assistant has brought with him to the Hawthorns.
Morrison opened the scoring with his third goal of the season just after the half hour mark and was the game’s outstanding passer as he racked up an impressive 96% pass accuracy, and was his side’s most accurate in the final third, with an accuracy of 92%.
He also laid on three chances for his teammates and achieved a 100% dribble success rate before being replaced after 69 minutes.
