Two of the star players from Manchester United’s performance at The Bernabéu are currently on their injury list. Manchester United are hopeful that Phil Jones and Robin van Persie will be fit for the return clash against Real Madrid on March 5th however losing both players would be considered a blow. According to PhysioRoom.com both United players have no return date as of yet as Phil Jones has an ankle/foot injury whilst van Persie has a bruised hip.
Real Madrid turned on the style by defeating their arch-nemesis, Barcelona, 3-1 at the Camp Nou to reach the Copa Del Rey Final and will be very confident that their counter-attacking tactics will come to the fore against Manchester United too as you do not expect the Premier League leaders to sit back at Old Trafford.
