Premier League Top Players So Far | Top Scorers, Creators, Most Woodwork Hits & Fouls Conceded

Welcome to our monthly article of Premier League’s Top Players! We take images from our members only Stats Centre to update you on how the players are performing. Seeing as there is no full fixture list until the weekend of the 23rd February (only Liverpool Vs Swansea on Sunday this weekend) we thought it was the best time to share these stats with you as the major changes will now take place in ten days time.

First up top strikers:

Top Strikers

Robin van Persie continues to sit at the top of the goal scorers list. He is one away from the first to hit twenty league goals this season unless Luis Suarez manages a hat trick on Sunday! Out of the five players below you can see that van Persie also has the worst clear-cut chance conversion converting only 38% of his clear chances. His Manchester United team-mates do create a lot of chances for him has he has had 32 clear-cut attempts, 8 more than Suarez, 15 more than Michu and double the amount Demba Ba has had this season (Chelsea & Newcastle combined).

Gareth Bale’s excellent form has seen him break into the Top 5 scorers – the most he’s scored in a season in the League. A comparison with Ronaldo at the same age can be found on the site here, where Bale matches up really well with him.
