West Brom 2 – 0 Southampton
Bottom side Southampton put in a lacklustre performance and deserved to lose to this year’s surprise package West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Peter Odemwingie was the obvious standout performer, as he bagged a goal either side of half time to settle the score.
The Nigerian attempted 7 shots and created 3 chances as the Saints failed to get to grips with the forward.
West Brom look like a good outfit and Steve Clarke has a welcome problem on his hands in choosing between Odemwingie and Romelu Lukaku.
